Munster Weddings is an established and respected presence in the wedding industry in Munster. Having positioned itself as the ‘Centre of Excellence in Munster’ in the industry, the brief was to create a bold and memorable brand to clearly identity Munster Weddings. The identity had to be strong and modern while remaining true to their informal yet professional tone of voice. As Munster Weddings has a strong online presence, a physical location and is the host of many large events, the branding needed to be versatile and able adapt to a wide range of media and applications. The existing brand was inconsistent and lacked the authority needed by such a business.. Enter Babelfis!

It was decided that the business needed a mark that could would be instantly and obviously Munster Weddings, and could also act as an endorsement while being flexible in its nature. A bold roundel was created as the main identifying mark. The clean, circular monogram was easily recognisable and worked well on all applications from signage to social media posts. A subtle, confident colour palette and photographic style was developed in-keeping with the brand values while delivering a consistent look and feel on all channels. A high gloss editorial magazine, extended folding floor plan, promotional videos, swag bags and outdoor signage were just some of the areas that benefitted from the new branding.

The strong visual style of Munster Weddings cemented its position in the market and made a lasting impact on the people of Munster in a very short period of time, leading to high ticket sales at many successful events and a large online following. The easily identifiable roundel, bold typography and cohesive photographic style plays an important role in the brand recognition of Munster Weddings. Multiple large scale events have followed in Pairc Ui Chaoimh, Cork and saw attendance upwards of 5,000 people and we were delighted to be involved every step of the way!
